Dolphins
Dolphins (Delphinus delphis) are intelligent mammals known for their playful behavior, which includes surfing on waves.
Dolphins live their entire lives in groups called pods and use a variety of vocalizations, body movements, and even bubble patterns to communicate.
They each have a signature whistle, like a name, that they use to identify each other.
Dolphins use echolocation, a type of sonar, to navigate and hunt for food. By emitting sound waves and listening for the echoes, they can create a mental map of their surroundings, even in murky waters.
Painting seawaves is always fun and challenging. The dolphins were a last-minute addition to add movement and a sense of frolic and fun.
