Cats
Cats were domesticated around 9,000 years ago in the regions that are now modern-day Turkey, Israel, and Egypt.
Domestication likely began when wildcats (Felis lybica, the African wildcat) started living near human settlements, attracted by the rodents that were drawn to stored grain. Genetic research shows modern domestic cats (Felis catus) descend from Felis lybica and have changed little over time.
Modern cat breeds are distinguished by their fur patterns, colors, and physical traits rather than any abilities
- Siamese cats have striking blue almond-shaped eyes and sleek bodies with contrasting "point" markings on the face, ears, paws, and tail. They are very vocal and love to "talk"
- Bengal cats look like mini leopards due to their golden, rosette-spotted coats. They have a sleek, muscular build with high energy and intelligence and love water and playtime
- Spyhnx, on the other hand, are completely hairless, showing off their wrinkled skin, but they are warm to the touch and require regular skin care
