 Cool cats never quit




They say, 'You ain't earned your stripes, 
'So just sit quiet, you dumb rookie'
Duck their jabs, ignore their swipes
Bid your time, you're one smart cookie
They see what's outside and box you in
Not what's inside, the gifts you bring
Break free, don't let them lock you in
Just be yourself, do your own thing

You're a star, but you just don't know it
They'll test you, mark you and grade you
Alas, you are much better; time will show it
Standardised tests are not how God made you
Find your passion and let it shine bright
Practice makes perfect, so don't you quit
Try again and again till you get it right
Blaze brightly across the sky, don't you sit

I had a beautiful cat . Someone poisoned it. cars wold stop to see it . I was crying so bitterly . My daughter thought my mother died .paid to get it cremated . Buried it’s ashes in my backyard. Have a tree planted . Have never had pets . This one was special (A friend on WhatsApp)

Oh, how sad. Yes, sometimes pets can be so dear to us. I can totally relate to how you felt. I was very sad when we had to put our 17 year old cocker spaniel down. It was like losing a family member. - Kieran

My homage to Azulejos - the striking white and blue ceramic tiles of Portugal.  The name 'azulejos' is derived from the Arabic word 'al zuleique', which means “little polished stone”.   Pope Leo XIV On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Conclave of 133 Roman Catholic Cardinals elected a new Pope for 1.4 billion faithful, the  267th in the line of Pontiffs that dates back to St Peter, who was handpicked by Jesus Christ himself. [ Matthew 16:18 ] Before he was elected Pope Leo XIV, Chicago-born Cardinal Robert Frost Prevost spent  much of his life outside the United States.
