No way, Jose, definitely not today
See, I’ve got plans from here till Sunday 
Don’t even think about it, I say
Ain’t nothing gonna ruin my big day
My red Porsche is waiting on the South Bay
My Gulfstream’s ready on the runway 
Honeymoon on the Riviera - a lil getaway 
So let’s call it truce, a tête-à-tête
For my freedom, a King’s ransom I’ll pay
And we’ll rendezvous here next Monday

  • The artwork was inspired by a nature photograph
  • The whimsical poem isinspired by the charming characters in the children's stories, 'The Wind in the Willow' by the British author, Kenneth Grahame and illustated by E H Shepard. The local library in Mountain View, California has life size sculptures of these anthopomorphic creatures that inspire a thousand children and apparently yours truly.

My homage to Azulejos - the striking white and blue ceramic tiles of Portugal.  The name 'azulejos' is derived from the Arabic word 'al zuleique', which means “little polished stone”.   Pope Leo XIV On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Conclave of 133 Roman Catholic Cardinals elected a new Pope for 1.4 billion faithful, the  267th in the line of Pontiffs that dates back to St Peter, who was handpicked by Jesus Christ himself. [ Matthew 16:18 ] Before he was elected Pope Leo XIV, Chicago-born Cardinal Robert Frost Prevost spent  much of his life outside the United States.
