I'm singing in the rain.... just singing in the rain 🌧️☔☔
What a glorious feeling...
I'm happy again πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜€πŸ˜ (A very accomplished choir master friend on WhatsApp)

Simply love it … makes we wanna run into the street but wait it’s summer in California and someone might tip off the cops πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - Kieran

I really like this one. How skillfully you have captured the reflection. A person reflecting on the serene reflection of the surrounding and perhaps on the course of his/her life. (A dear friend on WhatsApp)

Nicely put, dear Elaine. Minimalism gives space for various interpretations. Thanks for sharing yours. πŸ™πŸΌ - Kieran

❤️. Interestingly enough, Schindler’s List where there was a small girl in a red coat, and she was in stark contrast to the otherwise grayscale movie. (A friend on WhatsApp)

From the reflections ... at the foot of the mountain...as I see the reflection of the mountain too. Could be a river too... (A friend on WhatsApp)

Thanks Joe. Minimalistic Art is so interesting … the viewer fills in details - Kieran

The first thought that came up ?

That this us a glacial lake at the base of Kanchenjunga, where we had trekked.
What is your thought ? (A classmate who trekked with me in Sikkim commenting on WhatsApp)

Yes something along those lines. The vastness and quietude of nature impels one to be happy in the moment- Kieran

Bleakness; silence; solitude. (A friend on WhatsApp)

Well said … I can sense all of those. Mankind is so puny in the vastness of God’s creation. We sometimes forget how vulnerable we truly are, albeit behind our walled gated homes - Kieran

Metaphorically very timely given the announcement of the ceasefire in the Himalayas. (A friend on WhatsApp)

Hadn’t thought of it that way, @⁨~Bhavesh⁩ - the mighty Himalayas having witnessed all the follies of men, must be shaking it’s proverbial head at this latest insanity called war. - Kieran

Reflections…. So perfect, it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not… isn’t our world we live in the same? All we all living in a world of reflections? (A friend on WhatsApp)

Perfectly said @⁨~Amita⁩ - I too had a Nolanesque Inception-like feeling. Thanks for sharing your Instagram pixs on reflections - you have quite the πŸ‘️… πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ - Kieran

I first had thoughts of Alaskan mountains and glaciers due to the black, gray white. Then noticed the figure walking with an umbrella. Reflections is just right… peaceful as well! (A dear friend on WhatsApp)

I’ve been to Alaska so I can understand where you’re coming from. Terrific insights. Thank you - Kieran

First comes to mind?? That you are not sleeping well! It’s 7:57am in MN, which means you were painting around 5:00am PT! (A friend on WhatsApp)
Kieran said…
Haha. Well that would surely be true had I not painted it last night. I do however get up around 5:30 am Pacific time. Early to bed, early to rise… sorta kinda healthy but still wait for the wealth and wisdom 😁- Kieran

Oh la la - this is so poetic and apt too! Simply brilliant- Kieran

Without even expanding the image, it struck me that the reflection is not a "mirror image"...there is a sameness and yet there is difference...look at the birds...one seems to be flying in and the other flying out...I see it as a change and yet, no change... -(A friend on WhatsApp)
Kieran said…
You are indeed very perceptive - thanks for sharing your thoughts - Kieran

Lovely painting of the reflection

First prosaic thing that came to my mind is 'every action has equal and opposite reaction '

Second thing crossed my mind is 'everything beautiful has its own image to double our joy to behold it ' ❤️ (A friend on Signal)

Good feedback- there are always many layers to minimalistic paintings- Kieran

Hi Kieran, trust this finds you in the Best of everything. I have been wanting to write to you for more than a month now. The paintings that you nake are simply fantastic, extraordinary and an outstanding work of art. All the hard work you put into it really shows your compassionate and humane side. Wish I could frame and put it up in my place !! I love your work and your style amazes me.. The small chess tournament which you started , shows all the good work you have been doing. I pray to the Almighty, that you keep helping others and show them the right path. Stay Blessed Buddy. πŸ«‘πŸ«‘πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

You asked that comes to mind. I have been thinking and thinking. Sincerely my first was a memorable trip to a beach in Malad, Madh island beach weekend where we stayed and looking out of the window scene of the white sandy beach when it rained. Don’t know if it makes any sense but the memories of this weekend is still very fresh. πŸ˜ƒπŸŒΉ ( A very dear friend on WhatsApp)
